Reconciled, not guessed

Every parsed line is checked against the bank's own printed balances and totals. A statement that doesn't add up is rejected loudly — never patched with a guess.

Three layers of meaning

Every row gets a Category (about 17 broad buckets), a specific Subcategory, and a financial-health Signal. Rows that only match a generic rule are flagged for your review instead of guessed.

Counted once. Never twice.

Overlapping or re-downloaded statements are detected and kept once, the balance chain is verified across statements, and money moved between your own accounts or to your credit card is never counted as spending.
